Estonian Aviation Days 2013

Estonian Aviation Days 2013 will take place on the territory of the Estonian Aviation Museum
and in the airspace above it on 3.-4. August, 2013.

Preliminary schedule of Aviation Days events on Saturday, August 3rd

10.00 – Museum is opened
11.00 – Visitors are gathering at the anti-aircraft missiles
11.15 – Keynote addresses:
11.15 – M. Meos, Head of Estonian Aviation Museum
11.20 – J.Tamm, Rector of Estonian Aviation Academy
11.25 – E. Ergma, President of the Estonian Parliament Riigikogu Also, the opening of the Air Defence Deapartment takes place
11.35 – Formation flight on lines 1 and 2: Wilga-35 with a banner, Su-31, R22, R44, A-22, 2 x An-2, AW139
11.40 – Helicopter R22 is landing on the museum territory
11.43 – Helicopter R44 is landing on the museum territory
11.50 – Parachutists’ first jump
12.00 – Demo flight of An-2
12.10 – Lifting operation of helicopter AW139
12.18 – Helicopter AW139 is landing on the museum territory
12.20 – Formation flight on lines 1 and 2: Cessna Caravan, L-410 and L-39
12.25 – L-39 starts a high pilotage, pilot Lt Col Arvo Palumäe
12.50 – Start of payable pleasure flights on R22
13.00 – High pilotage of Su-31, former world champion Jurgis Kairys
13.20 – Precision aerobatics of R22
13.35 – Demo flight of R44
13.40 – AW-139 fire-fighting operation
13.45 – Overflight of two An-2
13.47 – Fire-fighting operation of An-2
13.55 – Parachutists’ second jump
14.00 – Demo flight of An-2
14.10 – High pilotage of a glider on line 2
14.28 – Group flight of small airplanes
14.45 – Demo flight of L-39
15.25 – Demo flights of airplane models
16.00 – Farewell overflight of Wilga and the glider
18.00 – Museum will be closed

NB! The time schedule may be specified during the events depending on weather conditions.

On August 4th the programme starts at 11.35 and is identical with that of August 3rd.

11.00 – 17.00 – Open are the stands of aviation enterprises
10.00 – 18.00 – The museum’s permanent exposition and attractions (high-jump trampoline, flight simulator, trampoline), children’s play area, buffet.

Entrance to the Aviation Days with tickets: general fee 10 €; students (up to 25 yrs old), conscripts, pensioners 7 €; pupils 3 €.

Price of pleasure flight from the museum territory on helicopter R22 (one seat) 5 min – 50 €
Price of pleasure flight from Ülenurme Airport by aircraft Cessna-172, three seats, 12 min – á 30 €
